We are a dedicated and experienced group of family physicians with a passion for caring for women and families as they journey through pregnancy, childbirth and the post-partum period. We welcome and support women and families in all contexts and support the diversity of families. We believe that all people have right to safe, culturally-appropriate and comprehensive care.
|
Our goal is to provide a positive birth experience, while maintaining the health and safety of mother and baby. We are women and family centered. We want to make decisions about your care WITH you, not FOR you. Women and their support people will be included in shared decision making and encouraged to participate in their care options throughout pregnancy, labour and birth.
|
We believe in suporting natural birth while using medical interventions if required. Any interventions, tests, or practices are done with informed consent of the mother, with the safety of her and her baby as our highest priority. We aim to prevent complications and respond to emergencies by using the best available evidence to inform our care.
We are dedicated to the model of team based care because we know that a strong team of smart, passionate and dedicated professionals leads to care of the highest quality. We are committed to great communication and ongoing education within our team.
We want to establish a relationship with each of our patients so that we can work together for the best possible pregnancy and childbirth experience. We continuously aim to improve our care and outcomes and appreciate feedback and suggestions for improvement.
We are here for you and your family!
